This photo shows the Nisei Veterans Memorial at Lake View Cemetery in Seattle, WA, erected in 1945 to commemorate those killed in World War II. This year will be the 76th Memorial Day commemoration.

This image is from the Northwest Times, originally founded by Budd Fukei in Seattle on January 1, 1947. These photos were donated to the museum in 2011.
