Uli Uli
Continuing with our celebration of Hawaiian History Month we feature from our collection Uli Uli - Feathered Gourds used as a musical instrument in the Hula dance.
This pair was donated to the museum in 1993 for the exhibit "One Song, Many Voices" which became the permanent exhibit at the museum when it was at 407 7th Ave S.
We are in the process of revamping the Honoring Our Journey exhibit at our new home. Does anyone recall something from "One Song Many Voices" they would like to see again?
