“CID Kimono” is a digital piece that explores some of the iconic places and symbols of the CID that I’ve grown up with. In response to the surge of anti-Asian sentiment during the pandemic, I want this piece to express the beauty of our cultural communities in Seattle. Our shared experiences and cultures are something to be treasured and appreciated as part of this country. I am grateful to the CID community for so many things.
